🔹 1. Introduction

The Cargo Package Master module enables users to create and maintain cargo package details within the system. It helps standardize package types used in logistics and shipment operations, ensuring accurate package classification and operational consistency.

🖥️ 2. System Requirements

Browser Compatibility:

• Google Chrome v90 or later
• Mozilla Firefox v85 or later

User Roles:

• Admin
• Operations
• Logistics Management

🔐 3. Logging In

Log in to the application using your credentials.

Navigate to the Cargo Package Master screen from the respective module on the left pane.

Alternatively, search for Cargo Package Master using the search bar at the top right.

⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions

🆕 4.1 Creating a New Cargo Package

To create a new Cargo Package:

1. Click Create New at the top right.
2. Enter the required details:

  • Package Code – Unique code for the cargo package
  • Package Description – Description/name of the cargo package
  • Status – Select the package status (Active/Inactive)

3. Click Submit to save the cargo package details.
   
   

✏️ 4.2 Updating an Existing Cargo Package

1. Locate the required cargo package in the listing.
2. Click the Edit icon next to the record.
3. Update the required details such as package description or status.
4. Click Update to save the changes.

📋 4.3 Copying / Downloading / Uploading Cargo Package Details

Copying Cargo Package Details

1. Click the Copy icon to duplicate an existing cargo package.
2. Modify the required details if needed.
3. Click Submit to save as a new cargo package.

Downloading Cargo Package Details

Use the Download option to export cargo package details for reporting or reference purposes.

Uploading Cargo Package Details

Use the Upload option to bulk-import cargo package details using the standard upload template.

Q: Is Package Code mandatory?
A: Yes. Package Code is mandatory and should be unique for each cargo package.
