🔹 1. Introduction
The Terminal Master module enables users to create, manage, and maintain terminal records. Each terminal is uniquely identified and linked with a port and a vendor, ensuring accurate mapping and operational control.
🖥️ 2. System Requirements
Browser Compatibility:
• Google Chrome v90 or later
• Mozilla Firefox v85 or later
User Roles:
• Admin
• Operations
• System Administrator
🔐 3. Logging In
Launch your browser and go to the application login page.
Enter your valid credentials (username and password).
From the main dashboard, navigate to Terminal Master via the left navigation pane under the Master section.
Alternatively, search for Terminal Master using the search bar on the top right near the username.
⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions
🆕 4.1 Creating a Terminal Entry
To create a new terminal:
Click Create New.
Fill in the following details:
• Terminal Code – A unique code for the terminal.
• Terminal Name – Full name of the terminal.
• Port Name – Select from the dropdown (linked to Port Master).
• Vendor Name – Select the respective vendor from the dropdown.
• Status – Set as Active to activate the terminal.
Click Submit to save the entry.
📎 Note: Ensure the Port and Vendor are already created in their respective masters before linking.
✏️ 4.2 Editing a Terminal Entry
To edit an existing terminal, click the Edit icon beside the entry.
Make the necessary changes (e.g., terminal name, vendor).
Click Save to update the terminal information.
📂 Upload & Download Options
• Use the Upload button to bulk upload terminal records in predefined format.
• Use the Download button to export terminal records for review or offline processing.

Duplicate Terminal Code | Ensure the terminal code is unique. |
Port or Vendor not appearing | Confirm they are created and marked as Active in their respective masters. |
Upload fails | Verify file format and required fields are correctly filled. |

Q: Can I assign multiple vendors to one terminal?
A: No. Each terminal can be linked to only one vendor.
Q: Can a terminal be moved to another port?
A: Yes, by editing the entry and selecting a different port from the dropdown.
Q: What happens if a terminal is marked inactive?
A: It will not be available for operational use or selection in other modules.
