PERIOD DEFINITION ERROR


  1. The below error states that the Period Definition is either not open or closed.
  2. The corresponding month (of Posting Date) should be open in the "Period Definition" screen for the respective GL type.
  3. If Secondary Period is enabled for that agency then the Period should be open under Secondary Period also.


Select Period Definition screen from Type to search 

  1. Under Period Definition screen,
  2. Key in the respective year in the field
  3. Select whether the Period Type is Primary or Secondary
  4. Also, in Ledger field select whether it is General, Payables or Receivable and click on Retrieve button
  5. Now, select your entry from Grid and change status as OPEN
  6. Click on Update button and followed by Save button
