πΉ 1. Introduction
The Voyage Master module is used to manage voyage-related details including schedules, vessel assignments, container limits, and additional remarks. It ensures complete voyage lifecycle tracking from creation to closure.

Browser Compatibility:
β’ Google Chrome v90 or later
β’ Mozilla Firefox v85 or later
User Roles:
β’ Admin

π 3. Logging In
Log in to the application using your credentials.
Navigate to Voyage Master from the left-side menu under the Operations module.
Alternatively, search for Voyage Master using the search bar at the top right corner.
βοΈ 4. Main Features and Functions
π 4.1 Creating a New Voyage (Tab: Voyage Details)
Click Create New.
Fill in the following voyage information:
βββ’ Carrier Name β Select from the dropdown.
βββ’ Service Code β Select from dropdown.
βββ’ Rotation Number β Enter unique rotation number.
βββ’ Vessel β Select from dropdown.
βββ’ Port Name β Choose relevant port.
βββ’ Line Voyage, Commercial Voyage Load, Commercial Voyage Discharge β Enter values.
βββ’ ETA / ETD β Enter estimated arrival and departure times.
βββ’ ATA / ATD β Enter actual arrival and departure times.
βββ’ Loading Terminal and Discharge Terminal β Select from dropdown.
Additional fields:
βββ’ Next Port, Next Port ETA
βββ’ Open for Booking β Set to Yes/No
βββ’ Status β Select one of: New / Open / Closed / Cancelled
βββ’ EGM Number & Date, IGM Number & Date
βββ’ Cut-off Date, Return Date, IGM Cut-off Date, EGM Cut-off Date
Click Submit to save the voyage.
Use the Download button to export voyage data or Upload to import bulk voyage entries.
π§Ύ 4.2 Tab: Additional Services
This tab allows adding optional services related to the voyage.
Select Carrier and Service Code from dropdowns.
Fill in Notes for relevant remarks or operational details.
Click Save to store service details.
π¦ 4.3 Tab: Container Limit
Used to define restrictions for container size/type per voyage.
Select Container Size and Type from dropdowns.
Enter Allowed Quantity.
Add any Notes.
Save the entry.
π 4.4 Tab: Voyage Notes
To capture notes or observations regarding the voyage.
Select the Voyage Notes Type from dropdown.
Add descriptive Notes.
You can Add, Edit, or Delete any note entry.
Use the Upload and Download buttons for bulk data import/export.
π Summary View Filters:
β’ All β Displays all voyage records.
β’ New β Shows voyages with status βNewβ.
β’ Open β Displays voyages marked βOpenβ.
β’ Closed β Displays completed voyages.

Issue | Solution |
---|---|
Voyage not saving | Ensure all mandatory fields are filled (carrier, vessel, port, etc.) |
ETA/ETD or ATA/ATD mismatch | Double-check format and ensure valid date/time values. |
Upload not working | Use the prescribed template and ensure all required headers are present. |

Q: Can a voyage be reopened after closure?
A: Yes, update the status back to βOpenβ via Edit option if required.
Q: Are all tabs mandatory to fill?
A: Only the Voyage Details tab is mandatory. Other tabs are optional based on operations.
Q: Can I assign multiple services to one voyage?
A: Yes, you can add multiple services under the Additional Services tab.
Q: Can I bulk upload container limits?
A: Not currently. Only voyage details and notes support bulk upload/download.
