The Deals module in Zealit is designed to help sales teams track and manage deals made with customers. It captures all relevant commercial details such as enquiry dates, port and commodity information, freight quotes, and container requirements, providing a structured overview of deal progress and outcomes.
• Browser: Chrome 90+ or Firefox 85+
• User Role: Sales Executive or Sales Manager Access
Navigate to the Zealit login page.
Enter your username and password.
If you have access to multiple Zealit modules, click the Module Switcher button and select the CRM module.
From the ribbon to the left, click on the Deals module to begin.
Click the Create New button on the Deals screen.
Proceed to fill in the deal details as outlined in section 4.2.
Click Save to record the deal entry.
Enquiry Date Range: Specify the start and end dates of the customer enquiry.
Customer Name & Type: Select the customer and indicate whether it's a direct client or intermediary.
Agency: Choose the relevant agency from the dropdown.
Sales Owner: Auto-fetched based on the logged-in user.
Lead Source: Select from predefined options (e.g., Referral, Website, Cold Call).
Port Details: Input origin and destination ports.
Cargo Commodity: Specify the type of commodity being shipped.
Freight Amount: Enter the requested and quoted freight amounts.
Status: Choose the current status (e.g., Pending, Won, Lost).
Customer Responded Date: Record when the customer responded to the deal.
Rejected Reason: Provide a reason if the deal was lost or rejected.
RR Number: Select or input the related RR (Rate Request) number.
Remarks: Add any internal notes or customer comments.
Container Details: Specify container count and type (e.g., 20FT, 40FT).
Feeder Rows (Feeder 1, 2, 3): If multiple slot operators are involved, add their respective details in the feeder rows.
Existing deal entries are shown in a grid on the landing page.
Use filters to search by customer name, status, date range, or other parameters.
Issue | Solution |

Unable to Save Deal | Check if all mandatory fields (e.g., Customer, Enquiry Date, Status) are filled correctly. |
Sales Owner Not Displaying | Ensure the user is logged in correctly. |
Feeder Details Missing | Confirm that feeder information is only needed when multiple operators are involved. |
RR Number Not Available | Ensure RR numbers have been created in the relevant module or linked source. |
• Can I assign a deal to another sales owner?
No, deals are auto-assigned based on the logged-in user.
• Can I update deal status later?
Yes, deal status can be modified from the deal edit screen.
• What happens if a deal is rejected?
You should specify the rejection reason and mark the deal accordingly.
• Are feeder details mandatory?
Only if multiple slot operators are involved in the shipment planning.
