The COC Booking module in Zealit 2.0 allows users to seamlessly create a booking from an Approved COC Rate Request (RR).
All relevant shipment, rate, cost, and voyage details are automatically fetched from the COC RR, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process. Users can review, update, and confirm bookings before proceeding to Bill of Lading (BL) confirmation.

• Google Chrome version 90 or above

• Mozilla Firefox version 85 or above

User Access Role:

• Sales, Operations, or Documentation team member with Booking Module access

      3. Navigate to the COC Rate Request screen via the dashboard.

      ⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions

      🆕 4.1 Creating COC Booking from Approved COC Rate Request

      • Once the COC RR is Approved, the Create Booking button will become enabled.
        
        
        

      • Click on Create Booking.

      • The system will automatically redirect you to the COC Booking screen.

      📋 4.2 Auto-Fetched Details from COC RR

      When redirected, the system automatically fetches the following details from the COC RR to the COC Booking screen:

      • Booking Details

      • Commodity Details

      • Voyage Details

      • Liner Details

      • Free Days

      • Rate & Cost (fetched into the Rate & Cost Tab)

      These details ensure that the booking aligns with the approved quotation and eliminates the need for re-entry.

      ✏️ 4.3 Editing Booking Details

      After the booking data is fetched:

      • You can edit or update:
         - Commodity Details
         - Party Details
         - Other Information
         - Attachments and Notes

      This flexibility allows users to make final adjustments before booking confirmation.

      💲 4.4 Rate & Cost Tab

      • The Rate and Cost provided in the COC Rate Request are automatically populated in the Rate & Cost tab of the booking.
        
        
        

      • You may review these details before confirming the booking.

      • Manual modification is possible only prior to booking confirmation, ensuring data integrity.

      🚢 4.5 Booking Creation and Confirmation Process

      1. After verifying all details, click Create Booking.
         
         
         

      2. The system will redirect you to the COC Manage Shipment screen.
         

      3. The newly created booking will appear under the Pending Booking stage.

      4. Click View Booking to review the created booking record.

      🧭 4.6 Viewing and Managing Bookings

      • From the Pending Booking stage:
         - Click View Booking to open the detailed booking view.
         - Here, users can edit any details as needed prior to final confirmation.

      • After all updates:
         Click Confirm to finalize the booking.

      📜 4.7 Booking Confirmation and Print

      • Once the booking is Confirmed, click the Print icon to generate the Booking Confirmation Report.
        
        
        

      • After confirmation, the booking status will move to Pending BL Confirm stage.
        
        
        

      • You can then click View Shipment to access and review the confirmed booking details.

      🛠️ 5. Troubleshooting Common Issues

      Issue	Suggested Solution
      Create Booking button not visible	Ensure the COC Rate Request is in Approved status.
      Details not fetched from COC RR	Verify the RR data is complete and properly approved.
      Unable to confirm booking	Check that all mandatory fields are filled in all tabs.
      Print not generating	Ensure booking is confirmed before attempting to print.
