1. Introduction
The Financial Budget module is used to define and maintain the budget allocation for General Ledger (GL) accounts for a specific fiscal year. This module helps organizations plan and monitor financial budgets period-wise for better financial control and reporting.
2. System Requirements

Browser: Chrome 90+ or Firefox 85+

User Role: Finance User / Finance Admin Access
3. Logging In

Navigate to the ZEALIT login page.

Enter your username and password.
-
Select the Financial Budget module from the dashboard menu.

4. Main Features and Functions
4.1 Financial Budget Landing Page

The landing page displays all previously created Financial Budget entries in a grid format.

Actions such as Edit and Copy are available against each entry for quick management.

Filter options are available to search records GL-wise.
-
Inline filters within the grid can also be used for finer filtering and quick data retrieval.

4.2 Creating Financial Budget Entries
To create a new Financial Budget entry:

Click on the Create/New button.

Enter the following details:

After entering all required details, click the Submit button to save the entry into the system.

The Clear button can be used to clear all entries added during the current session before submission.

4.3 Managing Existing Budget Records

Existing Financial Budget entries can be viewed in the grid.

Use the Edit option to modify existing budget details.

Use the Copy option to duplicate an existing entry and make necessary adjustments.

Utilize filters for easier searching and management of records.
4.4 Upload and Download Functionality

Users can download Financial Budget data for reporting or offline updates.
Upload Option

Users can upload budget data in bulk for efficient handling of large datasets.
These features help reduce manual entry effort and improve operational efficiency.

Yes, budgets can be created period-wise for the same GL Code within a financial year.
What does the Copy option do?
The Copy option duplicates an existing budget entry to reduce manual data entry.
Can I upload budget entries in bulk?
Yes, the Upload option allows bulk upload of Financial Budget data.
The Clear button removes the unsaved data entered during the current session.
