1. Introduction

The Stowage Master module helps plan and manage the placement of cargo inside a vessel. It ensures proper weight distribution, efficient space usage, and compliance with stowage rules. This module simplifies stowage planning and maintains accuracy across all vessel loading operations.

2. System Requirements

Supported Browsers

• Google Chrome (Version 90 or above)
• Mozilla Firefox (Version 85 or above)

User Access Role

• Operations Team
• Warehouse Team
• Shipping / Stowage Planning Users
(Users must have access rights to the Stowage Master screen.)

3. Logging In

Step 1: Open ZEALIT 2.0 in your preferred browser.
Step 2: Log in using your assigned credentials.

4. Stowage Master Screen

The Stowage Master screen is used to create and maintain stowage sections associated with warehouse or vessel cargo management.

Step 1: Navigate to the Stowage Master Screen

From the dashboard, open Stowage Master.
Alternatively, search using the Type to Search bar.

Step 2: Create a New Stowage Master

Click + Create New to begin creating a new stowage record.

Step 3: Fill Mandatory & Non-Mandatory Fields

MANDATORY FIELDS

These fields have the * symbol:

Field Name	Meaning / Description
Stowage Number*	A unique identifier/code for the stowage area or stowage plan. Used to map and reference cargo placement.
Block*	The specific block/section inside the warehouse where the stowage area is located. Defines physical location.
Warehouse*	The warehouse name/location assigned to the stowage. Ensures stowage is linked to the correct warehouse.
Status*	Indicates whether the stowage record is ACTIVE or INACTIVE. Only ACTIVE stowage is usable in operations.

NON-MANDATORY FIELDS

These fields do NOT have the * symbol:

Field Name	Meaning / Description
Maximum Weight	Maximum weight (in KG/TON) that the stowage area can support. Helps prevent overloading.
Maximum CBM	Maximum volume capacity (in CBM) allowed in the stowage area. Helps ensure safe and efficient cargo planning.

Step 4: Submit the Stowage Master

After filling in all details, click Submit to save the new Stowage Master record.

Step 5: View Created Stowage Master

Once saved:

• The new stowage entry appears in the Stowage Master List.

• Use filters (Warehouse, Block, Status, Stowage Number) to quickly locate the record.

Step 6: Download Stowage Master Data

To download all stowage records:

1. Click the 3-dot menu on the top-right.

2. Select Download Excel.

3. The Stowage Master Excel file will be downloaded to your system.

Step 7: Upload Bulk Stowage Data

To upload multiple stowage records:

1. Click the 3-dot menu.

2. Select Upload Excel.

3. Choose Excel Uploader – Warehouse Stowage.

4. Select your prepared upload file.

5. Click Upload to process the data.

Bulk upload helps reduce manual entry effort for large stowage volumes.

Q1: Can I edit a stowage record after it is saved?
👉 Yes, editing is allowed if permissions exist.

Q2: Can I create multiple stowage records for the same warehouse?
👉 Yes, different blocks or stowage numbers can be created.

Q3: Is it mandatory to enter Maximum Weight & Maximum CBM?
👉 No, but recommended for safety and planning accuracy.

Q4: Does the system support bulk creation of Stowage Master?
👉 Yes, using the Excel Uploader.
