1. Introduction
The Transport Tariff Master module within the
transport management system streamlines the management and administration of
transport tariffs for routes, vehicles, and services. It provides an organized
method for defining and managing tariffs based on distance, type of service, and
other relevant parameters, ensuring transparent pricing and smooth operations
within transportation workflows.
2. System Requirements
• User Role: Admin or Transport Manager Access
3. Logging In
- Navigate
to the Zealit System login page.
- Enter
your username and password.
- Select
the "Transport Tariff Master" module from the ribbon on the
right or through the search button on the top right.
4. Main Features and Functions
4.1 Setting Up Transport Tariff Master Data
- Go
to Transport Tariff Master > New Tariff.
- Enter
the following details:
- Agency
Name – Location name
- Service
Type – Service type of the Transport job
- Transportation
type – Whether transportation is done through own or hire truck
- Vehicle
Category – Truck type to be used for the job.
- Route
Code – Transport routing code if the charge is route specific.
- Charge
Category – Whether the charge is for revenue or cost.
- Charge
Type – the various classification of the charges such as Transportation,
Fuel etc.
- Charge
Code – The charge code that is applicable for the given criteria
- Is
invoiceble – IS only applicable for cost.
- Basis
– Basis data for calculation of charges.
- Currency
– The currency of the charge.
- Amount
– The amount of the charge.
- Remarks
– Remarks if any
- Status
– Active/De-Active
- Valid
From – Validity date
- Valid
Till - Validity date
- Save
the tariff data.

4.2 Managing Transport Tariff Records
- Navigate
to Transport Tariff Records.
- Search
for existing tariffs using filters such as tariff name, service type, or
distance range.
- Edit
the tariff details if necessary (e.g., updating rates or adding new
charges).
- Deactivate
tariffs no longer in use to ensure up-to-date pricing.

• How do I deactivate a tariff?
Navigate to Transport Tariff Records, select the tariff, and mark it as De-active.
