1. Introduction

The Warehouse Storage Tariff module is used to maintain and manage tariff structures for warehouse storage operations.

It allows users to:

• Define storage slabs
• Assign customer-specific tariffs
• Maintain currency and UOM-based storage rates
• Manage effective date ranges
• Ensure proper billing and rate consistency

This module simplifies tariff updates and ensures accuracy in warehouse billing processes.

Supported Browsers

• Google Chrome (v90 or above)
• Mozilla Firefox (v85 or above)

User Access Roles

• Pricing Team
• Warehouse Operations Team
• Users with access to Warehouse Storage Tariff Master

3. Logging In

Step 1: Open ZEALIT 2.0 in your browser.

Step 2: Enter your username and password to log in.

4. Warehouse Storage Tariff Master Screen

The Warehouse Storage Tariff Master allows users to create and manage storage charges based on customer requirements and operational rules.

Step 1: Navigate to the Warehouse Storage Tariff Master Screen

• From the dashboard, select Warehouse Storage Tariff Master.
• OR use the Type to Search field to locate the module.
•

Step 2: Create a New Warehouse Storage Tariff

• Click + Create New to begin creating a new tariff entry.

Step 3: Fill Mandatory and Non-Mandatory Details

📌 BASIC DETAILS TAB

🔴 Mandatory Fields

Field Name	Description
Charge Code*	Unique identifier for the storage charge (e.g., WHSTG).
Valid From*	Starting date of tariff applicability.
Valid Till*	Ending date of tariff validity.

🟢 Non-Mandatory Fields

Field Name	Description
Package Type	Packaging model (Box, Pallet, Carton, etc.).
Calculation Type	Defines tariff calculation (Per Day, Per Pallet, Per CBM, Slab Based, etc.).
Customer	Customer-specific tariff. If blank → general tariff.
Status	ACTIVE or INACTIVE. Only ACTIVE used in billing.
Notes	For remarks or internal notes.

📌 STORAGE DETAILS TAB

🔴 Mandatory Fields

Field Name	Description
Slab From*	Starting limit of the slab (e.g., 1 day / 0 CBM).
Slab To*	Ending limit of the slab (e.g., 7 days / 5 CBM).
Currency*	Currency used for charging (INR, USD, etc.).

🟢 Non-Mandatory Fields

Field Name	Description
Amount (Max 8 Digits)	Rate applicable for the slab.
Unit of Measure (UOM)	Unit used for storage billing (CBM, KG, Pallet, Sqft, etc.).

Step 4: Submit the Warehouse Storage Tariff

• After entering all required fields, click Submit.
• The new tariff will be saved in the system.
•

Step 5: View Created Warehouse Storage Tariff

Once submitted:

• The tariff appears in the Warehouse Storage Tariff Master List.
• Use the Filter option to search by Charge Code, Customer, Date range, etc.

Step 6: Download Warehouse Storage Tariff Master Data

You can download all tariff entries for review or audit:

Steps:

1. Click the 3-dots menu on the top right.
2. Select Download Excel.
3. The file will be downloaded locally for your reference.

The downloaded report will show:

• Charge Code
• Slab details
• Currency
• Amount
• UOM
• Validity dates
• Customer
• Status
•

5. Troubleshooting Common Issues

Issue	Possible Cause	Solution
Cannot create tariff	Missing mandatory fields	Ensure all * fields are filled
Slab not adding	Missing slab fields	Enter Slab From/To and Currency
Tariff not visible	Tariff inactive	Change status to ACTIVE
Excel not downloading	Browser restriction	Clear cache / allow downloads
Amount not accepted	More than 8 digits	Reduce to allowed format

6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: Can I create multiple slabs for the same charge code?

👉 Yes, multiple slabs can be added under Storage Details.

Q2: Can I create tariffs without selecting a customer?

👉 Yes, it becomes a general tariff.

Q3: What happens after the tariff validity expires?

👉 System will not apply expired tariffs.

Q4: Can I edit the tariff after submitting?

👉 Yes, if your role has edit permission.
