The Receivable Control Setup module is used to define and manage customer receivable control accounts. These accounts link customers to financial tracking systems and help ensure all receivables are correctly aligned with the General Ledger (GL) structure.
Browser Compatibility:
βββ’ Google Chrome v90 or later
βββ’ Mozilla Firefox v85 or later

To access the Receivable Control Setup:
Open your browser and go to the application login page.
Enter your username and password.
From the main dashboard, click on Receivable Control Setup.
To create a new receivable control account:
Click βCreate Newβ.
Enter the required details:
βββ’ Account Code β A unique identifier for the receivable account.
βββ’ Account Description β A brief, clear description of the account.
βββ’ GL Code β Select the appropriate General Ledger code from the dropdown.
βββ’ Status β Choose Active to activate the account.
Click βSaveβ to complete the process.
Note: Each Account Code must be unique and linked to a valid GL code.
Issue | Solution |
---|---|
Duplicate Account Code | Use a unique code not already in use for other receivable accounts. |
GL Code Not Appearing | Ensure the GL Code is configured and active in the financial system. |
Unable to Save Record | Make sure all mandatory fields are filled and Status is set to Active. |
Q: Can I update the GL code after account creation?
A: Yes. You can use the Edit function to update the GL code for an existing account.
Q: Is it possible to deactivate a receivable control account?
A: Yes. Simply set the Status to Inactive and click Save.
