The Container Movement Updation module enables users to update container inventory movement details within the system. It helps maintain accurate tracking of container status and movements by recording move history, updating next moves, and linking relevant shipment details such as BL numbers after confirmation.

Log in to the application using your credentials.
Navigate to the Container Movement Updation screen from the respective module on the left pane. Alternatively, search for Container Movement Updation using the search bar at the top right.
To update container movement inventory details:
Before updating the movement, ensure that the ISO Code is available for the selected container under the Container Master screen.
Select the required Container Number.
The system will display the Previous Move Details below, if available.
Select the following mandatory details:

β’ Next Move Date
β’ All mandatory fields highlighted with (*)
Click on the Save button.
The system will display a success message confirming that the Move Updated Successfully.
Once the BL (Bill of Lading) is confirmed, you can link the BL Number for updating further container movements.

Q: Is ISO Code mandatory before updating movement?
A: Yes. ISO Code must be available under Container Master before movement updation.
Q: Can I update container movement without selecting the next move date?
A: No. Mandatory fields, including Next Move Date, must be completed.
Q: Will previous move details be displayed?
A: Yes. Previous move details will be displayed if movement records already exist.
Q: When can I link the BL Number?
A: The BL Number can be linked only after the BL is confirmed.
Q: What happens after clicking Save?
A: The system will display a confirmation message indicating that the movement has been updated successfully.
