🔹 1. Introduction

The COC Manage Shipment module in Zealit 2.0 facilitates the creation and management of Master Bill of Lading (MBL) for COC (Carrier Owned Container) shipments. This module allows users to record all shipment-related details including booking, voyage, parties, cargo, and container information to ensure a legally compliant and operationally complete MBL record.


🔸 2. System Requirements

Supported Web Browsers:

  • Google Chrome version 90 or higher

  • Mozilla Firefox version 85 or higher

User Access Role Required:

  • Documentation, Operations, or any team member with permissions to access the “COC Manage Shipment” module


🔐 3. Logging In

  1. Open the Zealit 2.0 application using a supported web browser.

  2. Enter your authorized login credentials.

  3. From the dashboard:
     a. Navigate to TransactionCOC Manage Booking
     OR
     b. Use the Search Icon and type COC Manage Shipment

  4. The main interface of the COC Manage Shipment module will be displayed.


⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions

🆕 4.1 Accessing COC Manage Shipment

  • Use the dashboard navigation or search to open the COC Manage Shipment screen.

  • Click the “Create New” button to begin a new Master Bill of Lading entry.


📝 4.2 Creating a New Master Bill of Lading (MBL)

  1. Booking Party (Customer Name):
     Select the customer from the dropdown list.
     If the customer is not listed, add them using the Customer Master screen.

  2. Salesperson Assignment (Optional):
     a. Select a Salesperson from the dropdown, linked via the Customer Sales Link.
     b. Ensure the customer is correctly associated with a salesperson.

  3. Container Configuration:
     Click the ‘+’ icon to add container type and quantity.
     Select the correct container size and the number of containers to be booked.



  4. Location Details:
     Select the following details from their respective dropdown lists:
     • Place of Origin (if applicable)
     • Place of Final Destination (if applicable)
     • Port of Loading (POL)
     • Port of Discharge (POD)

  5. Booking and BL Details:
     • Enter the MBL’s Liner Booking Number in the “Booking No” field.
     • Enter the MBL’s BL Number in the “Liner BL Number” field.
     • The BL Type will be automatically set as MOTHER BL.

  6. Service Type:
     Select the appropriate service configuration such as FCL/FCL or LCL/LCL from the dropdown menu.


🚢 4.3 Voyage Details

  1. Customs Voyage Type:
     Select either Import or Export. (Currently, select “Import” as applicable)

  2. Customs Voyage:
     Select the customs voyage from the dropdown.
     If not listed, verify the following master data:
      a. Vessel is created in the Vessel Master
      b. Carrier is created and flagged in the Vendor Master
      c. Voyage is created in the Voyage Master

  3. Transshipment Details (if applicable):
     • Enter Transshipment Voyage
     • Enter Transshipment Vessel Name

  4. Liner Name:
     Select the carrier from the dropdown list. If unavailable, create in the Vendor Master and mark as “Carrier”.

Note: Once a customs voyage is selected, details such as Liner Vessel Name, Liner Voyage Number, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), and Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) will be auto-fetched from the Voyage Master.



🧾 4.4 Party Information

  1. On the right side of the screen, click “+ ADD” to begin entering party roles.

  2. You can add information for:
     • Shipper
     • Consignee
     • Notify Party
     • Forwarder
     • CHA (Customs House Agent)
     • CFS Agent (Container Freight Station)
     ...and more.

  3. For each party:
     • If available, select the party from the ‘Name’ dropdown – the address will be auto-populated.
     • If not available, manually enter the Party Name and Address – these will be saved into the Customer Master for future use.

Repeat for each party role involved in the shipment.



📋 4.5 Additional Shipment Information

  1. Cargo Description:
     Enter the description of the goods based on the MBL.

  2. Marks and Numbers:
     Enter identification marks and packaging numbers from the MBL.

  3. Comments:
     Enter any additional instructions or shipment-related remarks.


📦 4.6 Container and Cargo Information

For each container, the following must be recorded:

  1. Click the Edit icon next to the container row.


  2. Fill in the following fields:
     • Container Number
     • Seal Number
     • ISO Code – select from dropdown
     • Number of Packages and Type of Packages
     • Gross Weight – specify and choose unit (Kilograms or Metric Ton)
     • Tare Weight – specify and choose unit
     • Net Weight – specify and choose unit
     • Verified Gross Mass (VGM) – if available
     • CBM (Cubic Meter) – if known
     • Commodity – select from dropdown
     • Notes – additional comments for that container

  3. Click SAVE after filling details.
    Repeat for each container listed in the shipment.


📎 4.7 Attachments

  1. Scroll to the Attachment section.

  2. Click “+ ADD” to choose the type of attachment to upload.

  3. Click Upload and select the appropriate file.

Attachments may include scanned MBL, invoices, or cargo declarations.



🗒️ 4.8 Notes Section

  1. Click “+ ADD” in the Notes section.

  2. Select the note type from the dropdown.

  3. Enter the note description.

  4. Click Save.


💾 4.9 Saving, Editing, Confirming, and Cancelling MBL

  • Once all required fields are filled, scroll to the bottom and click SAVE.


  • A Reference Booking Number will be auto-generated (e.g., SHLHLPC25000001) and the entry will appear in the Pending BL Confirm tab.

  • To edit the MBL, make changes and click SAVE again.

  • To finalize, click CONFIRM. Once confirmed, the MBL will be moved to the Confirmed BL tab.

  • To cancel, click the CANCEL icon. Cancelled MBLs will not be processed further.


👁️ 4.10 Viewing and Managing MBL Details

Click on any MBL row to view the full details, including:

  • Reference Booking Number

  • Liner Bill of Lading Number

  • Bill Type as “Mother BL”

  • Port of Loading and Port of Discharge

  • Vessel and Voyage Details

  • Equipment Type

  • Place of Origin and Final Destination

  • Booking Party

  • Created and Last Updated By with timestamps

  • Service Type

  • Booking Agent

  • Estimated Time of Departure

  • Voyage Type as “Import”

  • Liner Name

Q1: Can I modify an MBL after confirming?
❌ No. MBLs are locked once confirmed to maintain data integrity.

Q2: Why is a carrier or voyage not listed?
✅ Ensure the carrier is created and flagged in the Vendor Master and that voyage details are set up in the Voyage Master.
