1. Introduction

The Job Card module is designed to help users record, track, and manage all vehicle-related service and maintenance activities within the system. This screen allows you to capture essential operational details such as truck number, container number, odometer readings, vendor information, repair location, and driver details.

Maintaining each job in a structured format ensures:
• Clear visibility of service history
• Accurate tracking of repairs and maintenance
• Better coordination between operations and workshop teams
• Improved accountability and cost management


2. System Requirements

Supported Browsers:
• Google Chrome version 90 or above
• Mozilla Firefox version 85 or above


3. Logging In

  1. Open ZEALIT 2.0 in your preferred browser.

  2. Log in using your assigned credentials.

  3. Navigate to the JOB CARD screen from the dashboard or use Type to Search to locate it.




4. JOB CARD.

4.1 Introduction

The Job Card module centralizes all service-related data for a vehicle, ensuring consistent and reliable documentation of every repair or maintenance activity. This module captures operational data such as truck and container details, odometer readings, workshop/vendor information, and driver details.

Benefits include:

  • Clear visibility of service history
  • Accurate tracking of repairs and maintenance
  • Better coordination between operations and workshop teams
  • Improved accountability and cost management

4.2 Status Tracker of Job Card Screen

The module displays jobs under different statuses such as:
Draft
Confirmed
Cancelled

This helps users quickly identify job progress and pending actions.



4.3 Creating a New Job Card

To create a new Job Card:
Click the Create New button on the Job Card screen.



4.4 Filling Mandatory & Non-Mandatory Details

The Job Card consists of three major sections:

  1. Job Details.

  2. Material Details

  3. Activity Details

All mandatory fields must be entered before submitting the Job Card.

4.5 Fetching Material from Store Purchase Order

Materials can be imported directly from a Store Purchase Order to save manual entry time.

Step 1: Click Fetch from Store.



Step 2: Select the required PO.

Step 3: Enter allocated quantity → click Add Material Details.


Step 4: Verify Material Details section to confirm the fetched items,



4.6 Creating the Job Card (Submit)

After filling all necessary fields, click Submit.


The system creates the Job Card in Draft status.



4.7 Confirming the Job Card

Once created, the Job Card receives an auto-generated Job Card Number.



Users can then confirm the Job Card after verifying all details.



5. Troubleshooting Common Issues

Q1: Can I edit a Job Card after confirmation?
A: No, confirmed Job Cards cannot be edited.

Q2: Can I fetch materials automatically?
A: Yes, using the Fetch from Store option.

Q3: Can I add attachments?
A: Yes, before confirming the Job Card.

Q4: Why is my Job Card in Draft status?
A: It remains Draft until manually confirmed.
