The Leasing Module allows users to manage the leasing of owned containers by enabling:
Creation of container master records
Maintaining customer details
Generating sublease requests
Updating container movements
Creating customer invoices
This workflow ensures proper tracking of container availability, lease periods, and billing.

To access the system:
Open the Zealit login page.
Enter your username and password.
Navigate to the required module from the search bar or left-side menu.
To register your own containers:
Open Container Master
Enter all relevant container details
Click SAVE to complete registration
To create a customer record:
Open Customer Master
Enter all basic customer details
Click SAVE to store the customer profile for future leasing activities
This screen assigns containers to customers.
Steps:
Open Sublease Request → Create New
Select Customer from the dropdown
Enter Pickup Reference
Select:
Lease Type
Pickup Criteria
Pickup Location
Drop-off Location
Enter Valid From and Valid Till dates
Add remarks (container numbers may be entered here)
Container Details Tab:
Select Container Size & Type
Enter Quantity
Click ADD
Choose:
SAVE → to store as Draft
APPROVE → to confirm the lease
System Notes:
Saved = Draft Status
Approved = Active Lease
Leases expiring within 30 days will appear under “Expire in 30 Days”
Once validity ends, status updates to Expired
Used for updating the physical movement of a container.
Steps:
Open Container Movement Updation
Select the Container Number
Choose the Movement Type:
Sub-lease Out
Sub-lease In
Sub-lease Damage
Available
Select Customer
Select Location
Click SAVE
Used to generate invoices for leased containers.
Steps:
Open Customer Invoice → Create New
Select Document Type
Select Customer
Ensure Customer Financial Condition is updated
Enter Reference Number
Click +Add New to add invoice lines
Select:
Transaction Code
Allocation Code
Enter Quantity and Rate
Click SUBMIT to generate the invoice
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot create Sublease Request | Ensure mandatory fields are filled: customer, lease type, pickup location, validity dates |
| Invoice not generating | Check if Customer Financial Condition is updated |
| Cannot update container movement | Ensure container is linked to an active lease |
Q1: Why is the lease showing as Draft?
A: It must be approved to change from Draft to Approved.
Q2: Can I enter container numbers in remarks?
A: Yes, remarks can be used for container number references.
Q3: Why can’t I update container movement?
A: The container must be part of an active lease.
Q4: Can multiple leases be created for the same customer?
A: Yes, provided validity periods do not conflict.
