Example: Charge Owner Definition for Charge Code = FRT

Defined Values:

  • BL Type: SOC

  • Charge Code: FRT (Freight)

  • Applicability: Line (fetched from Charge Master)

  • Applicability At: SLSS-JEA

  • Charge Owner: Agency

  • Owner Code: JEA Agency (selected from dropdown)

  • Valid From: 01/01/2025

  • Valid Till: 31/12/2025

Explanation:
A charge owner is defined for Freight (FRT) with Applicability set as Line. Since the Charge Owner is an Agency, the agency SLSS-JEA is selected from the dropdown. The ownership is valid from 01 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.

System Result:
Whenever Freight charges are applied under this setup, ownership will be attributed to the selected Agency (SLSS-JEA) for the defined validity period.
