⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions
🧾 4.1 Accessing the Report
Navigate to Reports → Demurrage Audit End Move Report (DEM004_REP).
The report can be generated based on user-specified filters such as From Date / To Date, Company, Container Type, and Tank Flag.
Click Generate Report to view results.
🎯 4.2 Report Filters
Use the available filters to narrow down report results:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Date Range | Displays container movements within the selected date range. |
| Company | Filters report data for a specific company or location. |
| Container Type | Restricts output to selected container type(s). |
| Tank Flag | Retrieves data only for containers of type 20TK when enabled. |
📊 4.3 Report Data Logic
The report retrieves container movement records from the INVENTORY_TRACKING table and joins them with CONTAINER_RENTAL_DETAILS only when:
A corresponding rental record exists based on the End Move.
The Charge Type is marked as REVENUE.
The rental record is not deleted.
Only active records are included in the final output.
Movement types considered in this report depend on the Tank Flag condition:
If the Tank Flag is empty:
Includes movements whose codes are listed under START_MOVE in the app configuration for program DEM005_REP, excluding containers of type 20TK.
If the Tank Flag is ‘Y’:
Includes movements listed under START_MOVE_TK in the app configuration, and only containers of type 20TK are included.
📤 4.4 Output and Export Options
Once generated, the report displays container-wise movement and rental details.
Use the Export option to download data in Excel or PDF format for review or submission.
Users can also apply on-screen filters for quick data comparison and validation.
