1. Introduction

The Transport Routing Screen module is designed to streamline the process of managing and optimizing transport routes within the system. It allows users to create, update, and track transportation routes, assign them to shipments, and monitor route utilization. This module is essential for improving transportation efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely deliveries.


2. System Requirements

  • Browser: Chrome
  • User Role: Transport Manager, Admin, or any role with access to routing features.

3. Logging In

  1. Navigate to the Zealit system login page.
  2. Enter your username and password in the login fields.
  3. Upon successful login, from the dashboard, select the Transport Routing module under the Transport header or search with the search button.


4. Main Features and Functions

4.1 Creating a New Transport Route

  1. Navigate to Routing > Create New.
  2. Fill in the necessary details:
    • Details : Define the name , fuel used , distance etc.
    • Charges : Define POL and POD and their relevant data in the routing tab
    • Define the rates and cost in their respective screens.
  3. Click Submit to create the route.

4.2 Managing Existing Transport Routes

  1. Navigate to Transport Routing .
  2. Use the search filters to locate a specific route (e.g., by Route Name, notes etc.)
  3. Available actions:
    • Edit: Modify route details such as distance, mode of transport, or transit time.
    • Activate/Deactivate: Change the status of the route (active or inactive).
  4. After making the necessary updates, click Update to apply the changes.
