How To Generate Rate Request In Zeal IT



Rate Request For Own Principal Boxes


  1. Select  "Rate Request” screen from “Type to Search” area.
  2. Select "Create New" button for creating new Rate Request.



  1. Select POL and POD or "Apply" button to list all valid MRG.
  2. From the list select one of the MRG and click on "View" button to create Rate Request.

 
  1. Select all mandatory fields under "Rate Request Details" tab, like booking party, shipment type, service type etc.
  2. POL Agent and POD agent will auto fetch from agency master, if required we can change it by selecting from the drop down list.


  1. Select "Container Details" tab and fill all mandatory fields like commodity code, no of container, free days if required and cargo description.
  2. Click on "Add" button to add the container details.


  1. Select the "Route Details" and select the respective route by selecting the checkbox.

  1. Select the "Rate details" tab, from the MRG screen freight charges will be fetched and from the Port Local Charges screen all defined local charges from the selected combination will be fetched.
  2. If user want to changes the rate, we have an option to amend the rate in the "Quoted Amount" field.
  3. Once Approved user can't change any fields.


  1. Select the "Cost details" tab, from the Service contract screen Slot charges will be fetched and from the Port Local Charges screen all defined local charges from the selected combination will be fetched.
  2. If user want to changes the cost, we have an option to amend the cost in the "Quoted Amount" field.
  3. Once Approved user can't change any fields.
  4. After selecting all the required details, finally click on "Submit" button, RR number will be generated successfully and will be available in the "Pending " tab, for approval.
