🔹 1. Introduction
The Cargo Master module is used to create and manage cargo types handled in shipping, logistics, and warehousing operations. It includes information related to hazardous identification, classification, and other cargo-specific details for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

🖥️ 2. System Requirements

Browser Compatibility:
• Google Chrome v90 or later
• Mozilla Firefox v85 or later

User Roles:
• Admin
• Cargo Manager
• Operations Executive

🔐 3. Logging In

1. Open the application and enter your login credentials.

2. From the left-hand menu, navigate to Cargo Master under the Master Setup section.

3. Alternatively, type Cargo Master in the search bar near the top-right corner.
   
   

⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions

🆕 4.1 Creating a New Cargo Entry
To add a new cargo record:

1. Click Create New on the top right.

2. Enter the required fields:
     • Commodity Type – Select the appropriate type from the dropdown.
     • Cargo Name – Full name of the cargo.
     • HS Code – Harmonized System Code.
     • Dangerous Flag – Select Yes or No.
     • DG Class – Choose appropriate classification from the dropdown.
     • UN Number – Enter the standard UN number (if applicable).
     • Flash Point – Enter the ignition temperature value.
     • Temperature Unit – Select unit from dropdown (°C / °F).
     • Notes – Remarks or handling instructions.
     • Upload Attachment – Use this option to attach related documentation.

3. Click Submit to save the cargo entry.
   
   
   

4. Use the Download button to export data.

5. Use the Upload button to bulk import multiple cargo entries using the standard Excel format.
   
   
   

✏️ 4.2 Editing an Existing Cargo Entry

1. Locate the cargo record in the list view.

2. Click the Edit icon next to the entry.

3. Update any required fields.

4. Click Save to finalize changes.

Q: Is DG Class mandatory for all cargo?
A: Only for dangerous cargo (Dangerous Flag = Yes).

Q: Can I update attachments later?
A: Yes. You can upload or replace attachments using the Edit function.

Q: What if cargo name already exists?
A: Use a unique name or modify slightly for differentiation.

Q: Can I import multiple cargo records at once?
A: Yes. Use the Upload option with the provided bulk template.
