The Transport Rental Details module is used to review and monitor detention calculations linked to a Transport Rental Contract. This tool reflects daily automated charge updates based on transport job activity, providing users with visibility into rental-related costs.
Browser: Chrome 90+ or Firefox 85+
User Role: Admin or Operations Executive with access to Transport Rental Details
Log into the Zealit system using your credentials.
Navigate to the Transport Rental Details screen via the left-side panel or search bar.
On opening the screen, no entries will be displayed initially.
Click on the Filter button and enter the relevant Transport Order Number to fetch matching details.
If the Calculate button was used and TO activities were recorded as per the rental contract setup, detention details will be displayed.
Start Date and End Date are auto-fetched from the Tracking tab of the related Transport Order.
If the End Activity has not been recorded, the system will continue calculating detention up to the current day.
The Remarks field will contain the calculated values and charge explanations.
The detention charge is updated daily, reflecting the accumulating amount.
Once an End Activity is recorded, the calculation stops automatically.
Issue | Solution |
---|---|
No data showing | Ensure the correct Transport Order Number is entered in the filter. |
Detention not calculating | Confirm that the start and end activities are defined in the Transport Order tracking tab. |
Remarks field is blank | Check if the Calculate button was triggered and contract conditions were met. |
Is the calculation automatic?
Yes, if the contract is set up correctly and activities are provided in the Transport Order.
Can detention continue indefinitely?
No, it will stop once the End Activity is logged.
Where can I see the final charges?
Charges and explanations are available in the Remarks field.
