The Forecast module in Zealit enables sales teams to project expected revenue from a company within a defined time range. It helps in revenue planning by allowing users to associate forecast data with key shipment parameters and link directly to active or potential deals.
• Browser: Chrome 90+ or Firefox 85+
• User Role: Sales Executive or Sales Manager Access
Navigate to the Zealit login page.
Enter your username and password.
If you have access to multiple Zealit modules, click the Module Switcher button and select the CRM module.
From the ribbon to the left, click on the Forecast module to begin.
Click the Create New button on the Forecast screen.
Proceed to fill in the details as described in section 4.2.
Click Save to record the forecast entry.
Company Name: Select a company from the existing company list.
Date Range: Choose the start and end date for the forecast period.
Booking Party: Select the party responsible for the shipment booking.
Commodity: Choose the commodity involved in the forecast.
Revenue & Currency: Enter the estimated revenue amount and select the appropriate currency.
Sales Owner: This field is auto-filled with the currently logged-in user.
Number of Files & TEUs: Add the projected number of shipment files and total TEUs.
Linked Deals View: Deals matching the selected criteria will appear on the right side of the screen.
The landing page displays a list of all existing forecast entries.
Use filters to narrow down forecasts by company, date range, or other attributes.
Users can create deals directly from the Forecast screen by clicking the Create Deal button.
Alternatively, deals can be created separately from the Deals module.

Cannot Save Forecast | Ensure all mandatory fields are filled in and the date range is valid. |
Linked Deals Not Appearing | Adjust criteria or check if matching deals exist for selected company/date. |
Revenue Field Error | Ensure the amount is numeric and currency is selected. |
• Can I forecast revenue for multiple companies at once?
No, each forecast entry is tied to a single company for clarity and tracking.
• Can I edit forecast entries after saving them?
Yes, existing forecasts can be edited from the landing page grid.
• Do I need to link deals manually?
Matching deals are auto-displayed; however, you can manually create and link deals as needed.
