1. Introduction
The Depot Discount Contract module in ZEALIT 2.0 enables users to create and maintain discount contracts for customers based on container number and discount type. Users can define material and labour discount percentages with a validity period for operational purposes. The module also allows users to create, copy, and edit discount contracts.
2. System Requirements
Access to ZEALIT 2.0 application
Valid User ID and Password
Required access permission for Depot Discount Contract
3. Logging In
Launch the ZEALIT 2.0 application.
Enter your Username and Password.
Click Login to access the system.
4. Depot Discount Contract
How To Create Depot Discount Contract In Zeal IT
Select “Depot Discount Contract” screen from the “Type to Search” area.
Click on Create New button to create a new discount contract.
Enter the contract details:
Select Customer
Container Number
Discount Type (Fixed / Variable)
Material Percentage
Labour Percentage
Valid From
Valid Till
Notes (if any)
Verify the entered details.
Click on Submit / Save button to create the discount contract successfully.
Additional Actions
Copy / Create Discount Contract
Select the required discount contract record.
Click on Copy option.
Modify the required details if applicable.
Click Submit / Save to create a new discount contract.
Edit Discount Contract
Select the required discount contract record.
Click on Edit option.
Update the necessary details.
Click Submit / Save to update the discount contract successfully.
Important Validation
Same Customer, Container Number, Discount Type, Valid From, and Valid Till combination is not allowed.
Ensure duplicate discount contracts are not created with the same validity period.

| Unable to Save Contract | Mandatory fields not entered | Verify customer, container number, discount type, percentages, and validity dates are entered |
| Duplicate Contract | Same customer, container number, discount type, and validity already exist | Modify validity dates or verify contract details before saving |
| Invalid Discount Type | Incorrect selection | Verify discount type is selected as Fixed or Variable |
| Unable to Edit | Access restriction | Contact administrator for permissions |
| Incorrect Discount Percentage | Invalid material or labour percentage entered | Verify the percentage values before saving |

Q3: Can I copy an existing discount contract?
A: Yes, the Copy option can be used to create a new discount contract based on an existing one.
Q4: Can discount details be updated after creation?
A: Yes, users can modify contract details using the Edit option.
Q5: Is the Notes field mandatory?
A: No, the Notes field is optional and can be entered if required.
