🔹 1. Introduction
The City Master module helps users manage a standardized list of cities within the system. It ensures consistent usage across vendor, customer, transport, and logistics-related modules.
🖥️ 2. System Requirements
Browser Compatibility:
• Google Chrome v90 or later
• Mozilla Firefox v85 or later
User Roles:
• Admin
• Master Data Entry
• Configuration/Setup
🔐 3. Logging In
To access the City Master module:
Open your web browser and go to the application login page.
Enter your username and password.
Navigate to City Master from the master setup section of the dashboard.
⚙️ 4. Main Features and Functions
🆕 4.1 Creating a City Master Entry
To create a new city entry:
Click “Create New”.
Enter the following fields:
• City Code – A unique identifier for the city.
• City Name – Full name of the city.
• Country – Select the appropriate country from the dropdown.
• Status – Set as Active if the city is currently in use.
Click “Submit” to save the entry.
📌 Note: City Code must be unique for each city.
✏️ 4.2 Editing a City Entry
Use the Edit icon next to the desired city to make changes.
Modify details such as city name, country, or status.
Click Save to apply changes.
🗂️ 4.3 Bulk Upload and Download
Upload:
• Use the Upload button to import multiple cities at once using the predefined template.
• Ensure all fields match the required format.
Download:
• Use the Download button to export the list of city records from the system.

| Country Not Found | Ensure the country exists and is set to Active in the Country Master. |

Q: Can I create the same city name in different countries?
A: Yes, provided each has a unique City Code and is linked to a different country.

A: Yes. Use the Edit function and update the status or details.
Q: Is bulk data upload supported?
A: Yes. Use the Upload option and follow the template format.
Q: What happens if a city is set to Inactive?
A: It will no longer be selectable in forms or modules where cities are referenced.
