1. Introduction

The Depot Repair Contract module in ZEALIT 2.0 enables users to create and maintain repair contracts for customers. Users can define labour cost, validity period, repair details, and material cost applicable for container repair operations. The module also allows users to copy, edit, and delete repair details as well as copy repair contracts for customers.

2. System Requirements

  • Access to ZEALIT 2.0 application

  • Valid User ID and Password

  • Required access permission for Depot Repair Contract

3. Logging In

  1. Launch the ZEALIT 2.0 application.

  2. Enter your Username and Password.

  3. Click Login to access the system.


4. Depot Repair Contract

How To Create Depot Repair Contract In Zeal IT

  1. Select “Depot Repair Contract” screen from the “Type to Search” area.

  2. Click on Create New button to create a new repair contract.


  3. Enter the contract details:

    • Select Customer Name

    • Labour Cost Per Hour

    • Currency

    • Valid From

    • Valid Till

    • Notes (if any)


  4. Under Repair Details, enter the required repair information:

    • Select Component

    • Select Location

    • Click the “+” (Plus) icon beside Location to create a new location if required

    • Select Damage

    • Select Repair

    • Unit of Measure

    • Length

    • Width

    • Labour Hour

    • Material Cost

  5. Click on Add button to add the repair detail.

  6. Repeat the same process to add multiple repair details if required.


  7. Verify the entered details.

  8. Click on Submit / Save button to create the repair contract successfully.

Additional Actions

Copy Repair Detail

  1. Select the required repair detail record.

  2. Click on Copy option.

  3. Modify the required details if applicable.

  4. Click Add to create a new repair detail record.

Edit Repair Detail

  1. Select the required repair detail record.

  2. Click on Edit option.

  3. Update the necessary details.

  4. Click Add / Save to update the repair detail successfully.

Delete Repair Detail

  1. Select the required repair detail record.

  2. Click on Delete option.

  3. Confirm the deletion to remove the repair detail successfully.

Copy Repair Contract

  1. Select the required customer repair contract.

  2. Click on Copy option.

  3. Modify the required details such as customer or validity dates if applicable.

  4. Click Submit / Save to create a new repair contract.

Important Validation

  • Same Customer Name with the same Validity Period for any Active Repair Contract cannot be created.

  • Ensure the validity period does not overlap with an existing active repair contract for the same customer.

Q1: Can I create multiple repair contracts for the same customer?
A: Yes, but the validity period should not overlap with any existing active repair contract for the same customer.

Q2: Can I create a new location while creating repair details?
A: Yes, click on the “+” icon beside the Location field to create a new location.

Q3: Can repair details be copied?
A: Yes, the Copy option can be used to duplicate and create a new repair detail.

Q4: Can I edit or delete repair details after creation?
A: Yes, repair details can be modified using the Edit option or removed using the Delete option.

Q5: Can I copy an existing repair contract for another customer?
A: Yes, the Copy option can be used to create a new repair contract based on an existing contract.
